OUR PRACTICE

Our Practice

Warilla Medical Centre opened its doors on the 12th of February 2018. It is situated in the hub of Warilla on George Street, and is surrounded by many local businesses. The modern practice, offers a vibrant, family friendly and professional atmosphere. Equip with state-of-the-art information processing methods, technology and equipment, our committed doctors specialize in a comprehensive range of general medical services to ensure that the community, both locally and more broadly have access to excellent medical care, all with convincey bulk billing.

We are open five days a week and currently have many qualified medical professionals working at our practice, one registered nurse and two reception staff, all of which work diligently to provide the most efficient and pleasant experience.
We have five consulting rooms, one treatment room and one allied health room. We are fully computerised.

Assessing our Practice

  • We have parking at the front, side and back of our practice.

  • Facilities for People with Disabilities - Our practice is fitted with a disabled toilet, as well as parking and wheelchair access ramps around the front, side and back.

  • We also work in conjunction with Illawarra Taxi Network to provide quality transport to and from our practice, with a rank only a few doors up as well as on-call front door drivers.

Email & Phone Correspondence

Although emails are checked regularly throughout the day we do not directly respond to them. Rather, we aim to follow up any concerns in a timely manner via phone. And in regards to contacting your doctor, you can appreciate that while he/she is consulting they are unable to take a call. You will need to inform the receptionist of the nature of your call and they will pass that onto the intended doctor.

Confidentiality & Managing Medical Records

In correlation to our practice policy and overall aim to provide you with the best care, we collect and record all consultations, illnesses, tests, prescriptions and other treatments recorded by everyone involved in your care and treatment. This information is stored electronically by practice staff.

In certain circumstances we will disclose patient health information to other organisations involved in your care.
